HideOUT is a new format for the skyscrapers of the future that will shape Moscow's skyline, an urban installation. Two towers, 49 and 34 stories high, are connected by a floating bridge on the 22nd floor. In essence, it is a complex, floating public space that creates and supports the concept of a true vertical city. Today, it is fashionable to talk about the concept of a “vertical city,” but it only becomes one when a public function appears, spread across different floors of the building.
The bridge also has a significant impact on the shape of the towers. “The silhouette of the towers is dynamic—the bridge connects the towers at the height of the 22nd floor like a joint. In response to this movement, sculptural folds appear on the facades. It is this moment that is captured in the architecture,” noted the project's author, Ivan Grekov.
HideOUT occupies an area of 1.7 hectares, with a residential area of 58,000 square meters. The Ramenki district, where the complex is being built, is known for its good ecology—there are more than 10 parks in the neighborhood and no industrial production.
