The author of the concept for the new HideOUT complex, head of the KAMEN bureau, Ivan Grekov, received an award in the category “Multifunctional Residential Complex.”
HideOUT represents a new format of the skyscrapers of the future that shape Moscow’s skyline — a true urban installation. The project consists of two towers, 49 and 34 stories high, connected by a floating bridge at the 22nd floor. Essentially, this bridge forms a complex, elevated public space that establishes and supports the concept of a true vertical city. Today, the “vertical city” concept is widely discussed, but it becomes real only when public functions are distributed across multiple levels of a building.
The bridge plays a key role in shaping the architectural form of the towers. “The silhouette of the towers is dynamic — the bridge acts as a joint piercing through them at the 22nd floor. In response to this movement, sculptural folds appear on the facades. This precise moment is captured in the architecture,” noted project author Ivan Grekov.
