HOTEL IN KAMCHATKA
This hotel in Kamchatka is located on a lake shore, near a large ski resort. A broken curve forms the volume of the complex, traversing three-dimensionally, not only in the ground plan but also in rising vertical sections. The dominant feature is the lighthouse tower which illuminates surrounding landscape elements becoming the focus point in an entire composition of natural and manmade forms and serves as a reference point for visitors exploring the surrounding area.
The rooms are designed as compact modules with separate entrances from the ramp gallery. The entire ground floor is occupied by public spaces – reception areas, a common living room, the SPA, a restaurant, and the administrative premises.
